Colby dvd/cd player

Neither posting had a solution stating that they have a similar problem. This was almost 2 months ago that I requested help, since then, I took the player apart, remove the cd that was stuck inside and put it back together after plugging in and powering up after a few minutes the display went to ready and it has worked fine ever since. Thanks anyway.....

dvd will not play. when I push play button, nothing happens. the red light is on showing it is plugged in, but nothing moves.
