Your washer is has a plug that will only plug into the back of the dryer. Because it can handle the same voltage that the dryer uses which is 220v

I am trying to hook up my stackable washer and dryer. I havee a 220 plug 30a what do I need to do so I don't have to go back to home depot and get whole new plug in and plug?

If the unit has a 30 amp/220volt plug, then you will need a dedicated 30 amp outlet from a 220 volt line from the panel. You can not switch the plug to work with a regular (15-20 amp) outlet. Have an electrician install a 10 gauge 220 line from the panel to the unit. good luck!

Hi joecci,

It looks like the Door Lock may be faulty, but here is a few things you should consider looking at first:

1) Is the door closed properly?
2) Have you tried giving it power straight from the mains, the door lock needs the correct power before it functions correctly?

I believe one of the above things will resolve the problem, let me know if it does?

DON'T DO IT!!! Get an electrician to install a 4 prong outlet for you. Your exposure is DEATH, be safe and get the correct outlet.
When some types of failures happen, you can charge the CASING of the washer. then you can become the connection to ground.
Get the correct outlet, return the three wire plug.

I have a Whirlpool GHW9100LW1 washer that was just given to us, but we do not have a manual or anything and the thing doesn't seem to work. When we place it on a cycle, the washer fills a little with water...

You can download a manual from www.whirlpool.com or at http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%208181901.pdf.
As for the F2 error, the manual states:
“F02” (Drain Problem) Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or disconnect power. Check the following: Is the drain hose kinked? Is the drain hose frozen? Is the drain hose clogged? Is the drain hose more than 96 in. (2.4 m) above the floor?
Regarding the Dryer plug and assuming that this is an electric dryer and not gas, you should have a 4 prong plug with matching outlet for 220/240 volt service. The older style is only three prongs so you should have an electrician upgrade the outlet. If what you have is a standard 110 volt plug on the dryer you have a gas model and need a gas line connection. To learn how to convert from one plug configuration to another see: http://www.ezdiyelectricity.com/?p=445. If you don't feel comfortable with wiring call an electrician. You don't want to electrocute yourself or burn the house down!

Asko stackable dryer/Bosch stackable washer compatability

If you arer going to replace the washer with a Bosch Axxis model, it will simply plug into the back of the dryer (if it is electric) because normally the dryers are 220 VAC. Works A-OK.
