Question about RCA F32649 32" TV

Perfect sound, no picture - RCA F32649

TV is a RCA F32649, date of manufacture is September 2001. About three months ago, the picture on the coax input started exhibiting some flakiness - sperfect picture, then snowy, then no picture, then perfect again. After two weeks of that I reconnected everything to run through the rear audio/video inputs and things were perfect. This morning when the TV was turned on, the sound was still crystal clear, but there was no picture. In an effort to further diagnose (and avoid buying a new TV) I recabled everything this evening to use the front A/V inputs to no effect. Again - perfect sound, no picture either from satellite receiver or DVD player. Any guidance that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Hoping that this TV can be repaired at a reasonable cost, and with a reasonable expectation of a decent lifespan following the repair.

What year was the RCA TV Model F19426 manufactured?

Since the manual has a copyright date of 2001, I would guess that the RCA F19426 was manufactured in 2001 or 2002. ManualsLib has the manual for this TV: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Rca-F19426-328410.html . The last page, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/138735/Rca-F19426.html?page=64#manual , has the copyright date.

I hope this helps.

"snow sound" on rca tv, perfect picture

Although your picture is perfect, I would think the fine tuning is slightly off. This can also be to do with the cable box frequency setting. Call out the cable people & get them to check the box & the setting up to the TV.

No Picture on TV

? What is the model # off the back ?

Does the video work on the RF coax cable input?

For instance,as a test, can you hook-up from VCR coax RF out

to TV coax in,put the TV on Chan. 3,play a tape and get audio and video?

Are you matching colors when trying the A/V inputs?Yellow, red,

and white out of DVD to yellow, red and white in on back of TV?

Then select video input on tv===dial "00" or use input button on

original RCA remote. Are you using original RCA remote that

came w/TV ? Do you have the owner/operator manual for the TV?

Sorry to ask so many  ?????   Let me know how it goes!!  T.

RCA 25GT511 - fuzzy picture slight static sound; wiggle coax rear mount temp resolve

There might be a bad (loose) connection in the RF isolator or the tuner (both are silver boxes. Try to unplug the coax and bend the RCA tabs in so that the connection gets firmly made when reconnected. This may help. If it does not The connector may have to be replaced.

Sounds like you have a shorted horizontal out put transistor and bad flyback transformer. This is a common problem in the newer RCA's. I've had serveral of them do this. The noise that you hear is the power supply telling you that it's overloaded. Stargazer

RCA F32649 sound but no picture

This usually a problem on/near the horizontal section of the TV board caused by solder that losses its contact thats why you need to bump it sometimes for the picture to come out. To remedy this just try to resolder any parts that you suspect seems to loose especially in the part where the components tends to get hot when operating, this usually are the horizontal section or the power supply section which is very common.
