Navagating music files on mp3 player

I have a Coby MP200 and i am having problems going back to the beginning of my play list, or navigating back to recently played tracks. Is there any way to start at the beginning of my music list every time i turn it on? or just how to skip multiple songs at once?

No, actually, you can't. it leaves off on the song you finished listening to after you turned it off. i know it's irritating, but you just get to listen to your songs in the order that you put them in.

How can i installing coby manager and installing coby manager ( Mac OS X)

Hello,
For the MP200 you can download and install Coby Media Manager.
Open the internet page and enter cobyusa.com in the address bar.
Next select Support in the page top.
In the support page, under Knowledge Base, select Coby Media Manager fix for MP822: this is the download page for the complete program.
Scroll down to see the download link for Mac OS X 10.4 or later and follow the steps for how to install.

When you've installed Coby Media Manager, you'll be able to setup your player, the MP200:
In Coby Media Manager select Tools > Device Manager...
Select MP200 from the Devices List ; Add>> ; OK for having this player setup as your Favorite.
Use the Help function (F1) for how to use the manager.

You may be able to, if our player supports MTP mode. You will have to see if the mode can be changed from MSC mode to MPT. for a better explanation of these terms go to this tip posted here -- Solve your MP3 Player Connection Problem.

What does sychronizing do?

Hello,

Synchronizing on most mp3 players is used for transferring one or more playlists from a computer to the player, having a connection through USB.

Creating playlists, putting mp3 data in a list with a certain name,
mp3 could be put in a specific order.
The player preserves some space of memory to remember these playlists and the playing order.

Some players support subfolders, but not having the manual for the
MP200 I'm not sure if that will work.
e.g.
MUSIC > music list 1
> music list 2

My Coby MP200 will not play the songs that are on it.

While it may be something you're well aware of, did you navigate to the folder on the Coby where the songs reside? Is it possible you loaded the mp3s in a directory that is not the default and so the player doesn't see any music. Another possibility is the copyright protection won't allow the player to play the songs. The license may reside on your computer but is not on the mp3 player. Last two thoughts (as stupid as they sound) are is volume up? Is earphones securely plugged in? Have you tried the earphones on another unit to make sure they work? How do I delete files?

The files on your music menu are connected to the folders on your computer. You can't delete the files from your music menu. You have to delete them (or move them) from the folder you took them from.

I suggest that you create a special folder on your computer for only the files you wish to put in coby media manager so that when you get a message like you mentioned you can get the files off your list by moving them back to your normal music folder.

I hope this helps!
