Question about Samsung RS2630SH Side by Side Refrigerator
Fridge and freezer are working fine, temperature-wise, but the divider is red hot. It was making a very strange noise recently too. Any suggestions?
I had that problem also and i called a repair guy and he replaced the condensor fan motor and put in a bigger blade. he said that these frigs have that problem but mine is now fixed. not hot anymore and working good.

Whenever a divider gets too hot to touch it is usually an indication that the condensor fan(the one behind the fridge) is bad.

I'm not familiar with the Samsung refrigerators, but on most side-by-sides the evaporator (cooling) coils are located within the divider partition between the two sides.... along with the defroster 'heater' coils. During the defrost cycle, this panel may feel warm/hot to the touch. Are the freezer/refrigerator sections staying as cold as they should be otherwise? If they are also TOO WARM, then you may have a 'defrost cycle' relay or timer motor malfunctioning.
also see if the fan works properly.
