SOURCE: Where are the furnace filters in my older furnace?

On these of Furnaces the filters mount on the door. Remove the door you will notice grill on front. There should be a track on the back of the front door to slide filters down. Should take 2 filters.

SOURCE: What is an A-Coil Cage

Hello,
An "a-coil" is a cooling coil that looks like the letter "a". The cage is simply the box or sheet metal case built around the a-coil. It is most likely located inside of the furnace itself and if you remove the furnace door you should be able to easily locate the coil- it has 2 copper pipe tubes running from the coil and down or up through the ceiling or the wall.
Hope this helps, James

Check the drain line for a float switch. Remove float and check for water. Do not leave float out, you must clear the drain. Good Luck

I HAVE A MODEL UFG-101AG-4 SERIAL # 800H2 INTERTHERM FORCED AIR FURNACE FOR MOBILE HOME OR TRAVEL TRAILER THAT I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH IT?

OK. Let me answer you, even if honestly I don't have any idea about an INTERTHERM FORCED AIR FURNACE. To get any answer, to a problem, you should describe your problem. Just telling that you don't know what's wrong with it is simply no enough information, even for a star expert in your INTERTHERM FORCED AIR FURNACE.

I have an old Intertherm gas-fired furnace, Model MGH-055AB which ceased operating last night. It was quite warm when I arrived home, and when I set the heat up a little, began to hum, but the fan would...

Tom P's answer is generally correct: The motor start capacitor is usually not the problem. However, in some cases, particularly on older furnaces, where there were capacitors of certain make and production run will prematurely fail. This happened in March on a mobile home HVAC unit where both the blower fan and condenser fan motor capacitors failed open circuit. Both caps were of the same Mfg, and production lot.
Here is a suggestion (for you or an electrically inclined friend): Locate a substitute motor capacitor having similar Mfd (or MF) and Voltage ratings. Remove power from the unit. Reach into the blower squirrel cage and spin it to verify that the shaft is not frozen. Pull the wires from the existing capacitor noting color and location. Connect the wires to the substitute capacitor and secure it place. Apply power and turn on the blower. A no start? Motor replacement time.

No problems, would like to find out the best way to remove blower for cleaning on an intertherm gas furnace mgh 075 ina mobile home

Generally ther is two screws at the base of the blower housing which hold it in place, remove the screws and pull, slide the entire assembly out. You will have to disconnect the electrical wiring to the blower and possibly the limit switch on the side if equip.

Where are the furnace filters in my older furnace?

Open the door to the airhandling unit inside the closet by lifting upward on them. There should be two filters located on top of the A coil.
