Hi.

Check that the drain hose height and elbow setting is correct, or the problem will be giving by water re-fluxing into the appliance from the drain hose.
Access the filter and clean it.
Check for blockage at drain pump hose.
Replace the filter if you have not done it yet.
Check and clean the hose connected to pressure switch.

Here a general article that I wrote about no-spin problem: If you have no spin ...

Regards.

Not draining water or spinning?

Hi, The pump may be blocked, machine wont spin untill it has pumped out the water, so the problem is not draining, first check drain hose is not blocked or kinked and then check the pump filter, there will be a hatch or cover usualy at the front near the bottom which you unscrew and you can remove blockage from the pump. Note, there will be some water left in the machine and it will be released when you remove pump cover so put a few towels on the floor or you can tilt the machine back and put a block of wood underneath while you inspect pump. If it still wont work after you have check the hose and pump then the pump may be faulty and need replacing, seek professional help for this.

Whirlpool Duet Sport wont drain.....?

Hi,

Remove any kinks in the drain hose. Ensure that the washer is not sitting on the hose.

Inspect the household drain. Remove clogs, if possible. Call a plumber if you cannot remove the clogs.

Check the drain and make sure there is an air gap between the hose and drain. An air gap is necessary to prevent the drain hose from siphoning water.

Clean the pump filter. Open the pump access door. Turn the pump filter counter-clockwise and remove it. Remove dirt and debris. Replace the filter and close the pump access door.

Rearrange the clothing in the load. An unbalanced load can prevent the washer from spinning or draining.

Allow the washer to cool down for two hours. If the washer overheats, it will stop the motor and cool down before restarting.

Close the door completely. The washer will not operate if the door is not securely closed.

I hope the above helps.

Good luck.

Kenmore Oasis Washer won't drain. "Ld" code during

Hi

Error code LD means long drain. This error appears when the washer takes more than 5 minutes to pump out the water till point where pressure switch resets. To resolve the issue you'll need to clean the drain hose, inspect if the drain hose is plugged. If the hose is fine, then remove the front kick panel and access the drain pump and filter, if you are unable to find the pump and filter remove the back panel as well and trace the drain hose to the bottom of the tub. There is a drain filter connected with the drain pump. It usually gets clogged, and needs to be cleaned every 6-8 months or so. The drain filter is a small white filter connected to drain pump with a hose. If it still doesn't work then you'll need to check the connections of the drain pump, check the electrical connections with a multimeter. Hope this helps... Please post back for more information.

Hi got hotpoint aquarious wmf740. all lights flashing f-05 ? wont spin or drain. please help

Hi

Error F5 means that the pressure switch is jammed on full. This may have happened due to blockage or obstruction in drain hose. To be sure check whether hose is plugged, if not then remove lower rear panel of the washer.
Now you would be able to see drain pump and a large black hose on bottom of drum. Remove the hose from the pump; remember to keep a container near you to collect the water from the filter/pump. Remove and clean the drain filter connected with the pump and hose. Clean the pump and let it dry for a while. Now restart the washer after 2-5 minutes and your issue would be resolved. Please post back for further assistance. Hope this helps...

My washing machine wont drain, so the rinse and spin cycle cannot activate. Please help. Thanks

Hi.

Check drain hose at the back, then access drain pump filter and remove eventual blockage. If that does not fix the problem, a common fault is the pressure switck, try blowing in tube and removing soap.

Remove drain hose from where it connects to the plumbing under the sink/tub. Inspect the spigot. If clogged, clean. If clean, then tilt machine back and remove drum to pump hose from pump. Check hose and also drain pump. Clear any obstructions.
