Question about Samsung Tocco F480 - Pay Monthly Cellular Phone
How to delete recent contacts list on your Tocco
This tut is an "At your own risk" jobie so no moaning if you screw up your phone!
Step #1: First of all you'll need to download JavaInstall from: http://azev76.free.fr/U700/JavaInstall.rar
Step #2: Un-RAR SAMSUNG_Composite_USB_Driver_4_34_WHQL.zip and run Setup.exe
Step #3: Now run TkFileExplorer_2.2.exe
Step #4: From the menu pick Setting -> COM and pick the USB port that your Tocco is connected to. Click on the 'Connect' button.
Step #5: Browse to /Phone/User/Msg where you will find RecentLog.log
Step #6: Delete this file and you will have a empty recent contact list!
Step #6a: Copy to your PC and open with note pad. You will see the number or name followed by a number. The second number is how many times you have text the proceeding name or number.
Step #6b: Edit this how you wish and save it.
Step #6c: Copy back to your Tocco!
Hope this is of help for all of you who don't want to reset your phone every time you want to clear the recent contact list!

Sending a load of texts to numbers like 321 - cancelling the sending of the message when the option appears - will push the number you don't want off the list of recent contacts, and leave you with a load of nonsense numbers.

I don't think you need to on this phone, you select missed calls that appear onscreen, dial them, save them or delete them. Same with txts, msgs etc...
Here's the user manual:

You could use a master reset code. But make sure you save all your things like photos/music onto a memory card and your contacts onto your sim otherwise you may lose them. The code is *2767*3855#

Go to contacts. Hit the contact you want to copy to sim. At the bottom right it says MORE. Touch that and the option to copy to sim is there.
