Question about Sony Grand WEGA KF50WE610 50" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

Pink and Blue Spots

We've got a Sony 50" Grand Wega rear projection LCD. We just had the bulb replaced a few weeks ago, and now a number of tennis ball sized spots, mostly pink, but a few blue have appeared on the screen. What could be causing this?

Thanks!

Sony guarantee the consumer to replace the optical block assembly for thousands of dollars in parts and labor every four years or when the pink and blue spots appear every time. Then replace the optical block assembly again and again every time the spots appear.

Please adjust TINT control of Video Settings in Menu that will adjust color tone of TV. I do not think this problem is related with Lamp because TV screen does not have any color blobs or spots.
Above solution is for Sony KDF-55WF655 model TV, if your model number is different, let me know.

Bright blue spots on lower right corner of Sony Grand WEGA KF50WE610 50 in. Rear projection tv

The spots are from dust in the optical assy. It would need to be replaced because the only way to fix the part would be to disasemble it in a dust free room.
