Question about Xerox Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

Not really a problem, but need assistance to find a printer or copier that can handle the printing of the return address on the upper left-hand corner of standard as well as others sizes of envelopes. We currently have several Xerox Nuvera machines in our House Print Shop. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

If you're looking for something to print a few envelopes then just about any standard desktop printer should handle it.
If you need large quantities you'll need a printer for that purpose, search the 'net for: Bulk Envelope Printer
Here's a link to one...

Brother MFCJ870DW Cuts Off/Chops Off/Truncates Left Side Return Address By About Half An Inch On #10 Com Envelope, Suddenly Started Happening

Check carefully that you have specified it to use the # 10 and that the format does not include a wide margin. If that fails, try printing the Return address 'right justified' and see what happens.

I am printing envelopes and have black ink marks and streaks across the left hand side of the envelope (return address area).

There is dust & ink build up on the printer head. Take it apart. Wipe it off by hand with print head cleaner & lint free cloth.

I use the HPDeskjet D1560 only for printing envelopes. The left side of the return address is often cut off.

Check your PAGE SETUP options for the file you are about to print and ensure the values you have entered for the MARGINS (especially the left one) are set small enough to allow the whole return address to be printed.

Good luck.

Try cleaning the charge wire. Move the lime green plastic handle from one side of the image unit to the other in the groove. If this doesn't work you'll need a new image unit.$$$$$. note: Make sure green handle is moved completely to the right when finished or black line will occur.

How to print the envelopes on samsung laser printer CLP-310

Hi,
Try printing address on envelope with MS Word as it has the facility under Tools/Envelopess where it will store the 'from address'

Both addresses are fully ajustable ie. left or right, up or down - no doubt there are other programmes for your purpose.

Thanks
I usually print the 'from' address in the top left hand corner on the
DL sized envelopes

Lexmark t644 error code 917.00

This error indicates that there is a charging problem with the transfer roller. You could start by cleaning the contacts for the transfer roller (power off printer first). The transfer roller is the black foam-like roller under the toner cartridge. Handle it with paper because the oils on your hand could damage it. To remove it, just pry under the far left side with a screwdriver. Lift and pull to the left to remove. If this does not fix it, then you have a more serious problem. It could be one of the arms or the HVPS.

Epson Stylus NX400 While printing envelopes, I keep getting a black ink blot on the bottom right hand corner of the envelopes. It happens to about every 1 out of 4 envelopes. I printed the return addr

Envelopes can give all sorts of problems Back corner is flicking up. Try rolling the envelopes in the opposite direction to the "bowing" as they have been through machine once.

Sometimes when toner starts to get low prints will faed or not print on sides. Make sure the printer is on a very level surface. Remove the toners and shake lightly left to right and reinstall.
