Hi, Unfortunately with plasma screens, any still picture that is viewed for a lengthy period gets "burned" onto the screen. For example, scoreboards for sports games. Or another prime example would be a video game such as modern warfare where the map ring and the weapons list stay stationary during gameplay.

Your tv could have one of several faults. None of which are to be tackled by anyone except a qualified engineer due to the electric shock hazard.the first problem could be the crt (tube) the second could be the componets on crt base circuit board ie resistors or ic.
With a tv 9 years old it may not be economical to carry out a reair.

your t-con has fail and at 9 years old let it dye

call to service agent of your product and service once. a wire connecting to speakers might be disconnected

Try a "1" in front of those codes; i.e., 10250 or 10051. Worked for me first try after an hour of frustration and failure. Woo Hoo!

Set Your emails to html version and you are done. Everything will work like a magic....

Sounds terminal. Companies build things with "planned obsolescence" in mind. In other words. You buy a TV today, and the warranty says it's good for 4 years. 4 years and 3 months later, it dies.
