There's no problem on your motherboard.

the problem is setting on video card.

1.) did you install properly the driver of XFX G Force? If not try to locate your driver here .

2.) Configure properly at the settings, by choosing dual-view mode.

I've heard of this before, try reinstalling the hardware, software and look in the bios for a setting. If not the gigabyte is a gigablunder.

SOURCE: XFX card

Sure will. All PCI (White in color slot), as the same. Age is not an issue.

I just bought and installed a HIS Hightech H467QS512P Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail. I pasted this from Newegg.com. It is realy fast and is rated the best card for the money in CPU magizine this month. 80 bucks at Newegg with a free World Of Warcraft Game. PCI EXpress 2.0 is backward compatible with PCI Express 1.0 by the way.

Graphics card problem

Hi rovin,
So you bought an XFX GeForce 256MB video card. You're board has 1 free AGP 8x video slot & 3 PCI (White opened slots).
You mention there is not slot for the new card. (What type of video card did you buy)? PCI-E, AGP or PCI?
The only slot you're board does not have is a PCI-Express.
Look in you're manual on page 1-7 for the location of the AGP video card slot.
94565e6.jpg If you bought the wrong card, exchange it for an AGP 8x or PCI.
The ASUS P5PE-VM uses a integrated Intel® 865G chipset with integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 Technology, which uses you're system memory to function.
If you need a manual you can download it from Asus. Click on the link to open to the P5PE-VM download site.

I hope you find this helpful.

Ge force 6200 video card installation

Hi dl1099, your motherboard L7VMM2 can only run a 4xAGP video card as noted in your manual pg. 2 Settings pg. 36
If your not getting video at boot up switch connectors on the video card.
