Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Common problem with every front loader on market.there is no one time cure for this, only maintatinance.if you are not using h/e detergent, start using it.the extra sudsing agent in non-h/e detergent is building up in the tub.because this will always keep the inner tub moist, mold and mildew will grow on the inside of your tub and give you that septic smell.(1)take 2 full cups of bleach and put directly in mach(2)turn mach on and set to lonest cycle, sanitary or whitest whites.(3)let mach complete entire cycle and make your 1st load after a white load(this will ensure if there is any left over bleach it will not affect your laundry)you will then have to determine how long it takes for smell to start comming back and when it does, repeat process.on my mach it is.good luck every 4 to 6 months.if u continue to use non h/e detergent,it will be sooner
