I successfully downloaded a program on my Vista Premium system on an HP 9150 desktop. When I try to open the program, it comes on for a few seconds then a popup comes on saying the program has stopped working and that windows will try and solve the problem and respond.     I was running it on XP. Wwhen I purchased my new computer, I re-installed the program(PedigreeMatchingGlobetrotter). I had some problems downloading it, so I contacted the authoe of the program and got a new key to run onder the administrator.

    the program dowmloaded successfully.

What is the program that you downloaded so we can check if it will work with vista because not all software are compatible with vista..

    As of now this software is not supporting windows vista that's why its not working , hopefully they are still updating it to work with vista, so you can contact the software manufacturer and ask them for any update of the software for vista...

You might try starting in safe mode and then resetting to an earlier date. continuously press the F8 key till safe mode comes up. Should com up in a few seconds. I am not certain you can restore in safe mode but it will not harm your system to try. Go to windows start and then programs look for restore. reset the system to an earlier date.

There are several software solutions which can redeem your Operating System serial key. You are using Windows Vista HP as the OS, so using these softwares would lead you to the Product key of Vista and other softwares that are installed onto your computer.

After downloading this file, unzip it with WinRar or other other similar programs. Now you will find two files in it, Keyfinder.cfg and Keyfinder.exe. Double-click on keyfinder.exe, and this should open up a new window with your OS information and serial key.

You can get the drivers by going to the manufacturers web site. As far as the programs, most of it was nothing but bloat that clogs up your machine so you're probably better off without them.

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download andinstall the drivers.

I can't find Ethernet Controler for Dimension 9150 Service Tag DB22PY81


You can find all drivers for your 9150 here.
The Intel driver for your built-in network card depends on your OS (WinXP or Vista).

(Your service tag might be outdated, so it doesn't work.)

hi their might be possible that their may be lot of file may be running at background, first try to disable them and you can do that by typeing msconfig in search bar and then click on to the services tab ,then click on to the hide al microsoft services at the bottom and then check that which all file is running which is not being used ,uncheck that option and then try to restart the computer,after doing this check that still the problem comes up ,if yes then try to shift the vista to the classic view and it will work

Hey try to do this now

1: Open up "Control Panel" and navigate your way to "Programs and Features".
2: Click "View installed updates" on the left hand side.
3: Find the update KB929777 and uninstall it.
4: Attempt to install the update again in Windows Update
5: Once successful, restart your PC.

This system has onboard RAID, sometimes it is simply because the RAID controller is in error, to get it out of error:

* Disconnect the power cable
* Hold power button for 15 seconds
* Release the power button
* Plug in power cable
* Start the computer

If this does not work, please provide information, is is Windows XP or Vista?

Audio volume keeps changing by itself


No, the headphone output is designed for 2 speaker output. Just recently I had a customer who had no sound coming from the desktop speakers yet the headphones worked just fine.
I believe that your model has a sound circuit integrated into the motherboard. It may have a “plastic cap” covering the audio ports (next to the USB ports). If you remove the sound card and enable the integrated audio in the BIOS, you can check to see if the sound card is actually the problem.

Software loading problem


whats ur operating system. i think it is vista. that may be the compatiblity problem with ur software. try it on windows XP . it will solve.. if u want to work it on vista, then u have to download a vista supporting version of that particular software...thats all
