Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I installed a 1GB ram (hynix ddr FSB400) on my intel d915gag MB after reboot my cpu fan rotates at fastily and in the process makes a lot of noise i want to reduce the noise as was previously my laptop makes a strange noise and it gets very hot in no time. i hate the noise. please tell me what to do.
It appears that the 1GB RAM that you installed is generating more heat due to the density of the chips they require more power. This is what is causing the fan to work harder. To verify this you can re-install the original memory and see if the fan noise reduces due to lower heat.
