Nokia 5300 IM service

Could you please advise what to do, if the option for IM service on Nokia 5300 just disappeared from the main menu? Now it looks like it has never been there... Called my phone provider and got the answer that it might have happened cuz it was drowned in water (which was long time ago, and IM and everything else was working perfectly after that). Could my provider have switched that option off? How can it be possibly restored?
Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion. Will I be able to do the reflash if my phone is locked though? (its a Tmobile phone). Could you also note which site its the best to get the updates from?
Thank you once again.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hard format for nokia 5300?

There should be two ways to format your Nokia 5300
Soft Reset: On the main menu, type in on your keypad the following combination: *#7780# - This option restores the .ini files from the ROM and will not erase data (photos, videos, documents) or applications that you installed
Hard Reset(Factory Reset):

This will format the C: partition and deletes all data including the data store on the memory card. Key in *#7370# (this should be done on default screen)

Warning: Battery should be fully charged. If during the course of reset,
the mobile stop receiving electricity it can ruin the internal flash
memory of the mobile device and will stop functioning.

Don't know you IEMI number yet, access this link to know how: http://www.fixya.com/support/r8086129-check_iemi_number

The user's manual for my nokia 2600 classic says "To change the menu view, select Menu > Options > Main menu view > List or Grid." But when I do that, all I see is "Grid". There is no "List". ...

well when you see grid.. select it. after selecting grid again go for select Menu > Options > Main menu view > .... you must find the list option and if you don't then get it checked from the service center

My uncle from chicago sent me t-mobile nokia 5300, I want to unlock it, please tell me how

few places provide the unlock code for this phone on the web. For example try:
www.fonefunshop.co.uk
select unlocking and click remote unlocking and pick T-mobile USA codes. another option is to take it to a service/repair place to unlock it for you on the spot

Where is the memory card settings in the nokia 5300

The best way to find the memory capacity is to open either the music player or the messaging option on the menu. Then hit the options key and the last thing on the list that pops up will say "Memory Status".
Open that and you can see both the phone memory and the memory card memory,

Hope this helps!

Also, if it does help, make sure you rate it for me, ok?
