I just replaced a screen for the same laptop. It was very easy. HP wants $700. I did it for $250.

Hello,

If you can elaborate on the exact issue, I will surely try to help.

FYI,

As TX1320us is new notebook, I guess it is one year below model and it should be under warranty.

If you have any issues with the screen, then you can get replacement from HP.

If it is accidental damage, then it won't be covered under warranty. If you have purchased Accidental Damage Package from HP, then all broken and other damages will be covered ADP.

Anyhow, reply if you need any information in this regard.

I will be happy to answer.

CRACK INSIDE THE SCREEN MONITOR DOES NOT DISPLAY PRPOERLY .ONLY CRACK IS DISPLAYED WITH MANY COLOURS

There is no way to fix this problem other than replacing the LCD screen. You can find one on ebay.com if you searched with your laptop's make & model, or better disassemble the LCD screen panel to gain access to the LCD screen, & check the LCD screen's part number &use it to search for a replacement on e-bay.com.
Remember to only buy from top sellers on ebay.com.

Try downloading the webcam fast recording(software) patch and see if that fixes the problem. Also update software if not done recently.

HP TX1320US not powering up .. seems dead..

The problem is in the GPU this defective chp is verheating and causing the WLANt fail and then it gets the solder joints loose on the board causng no video. It is a rather easy fix if yu are ok with removing your own motherboard. If interested I am willing to do the fix for anyone that has one of these machines. I have one and completed the fix on mine and 4 other machines. If interested email me at atkinsonwilliam@comcast.net thanks and good luck.

Display crack

Honestly it may cost less just buying a new laptop. Screens can cost more than a new laptop =[

You can use an external monitor if you do not plan on moving the laptop around too much.

G'luck
