Question about Toshiba 46H84 46" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Tv popped and cracked , then went black , no sound, no picture
If you heard a pop right before it went black, it means that the lamp blew. Unplug your set, then open the panel on the left side of the screen. Unscrew (2x) the tray that holds the lamp and pull it out. If you see broken glass inside the bulb, the filament has popped. You can buy replacements online.

Sounds like it blew an "Internal Fuse"
if you want to fix it..simply open rear of TV and look for the fuse.
here is link for a manual if you do not have one.
