If you can't determine the reason for the shutdowns then your ultimate solution is to reload Windows using the recovery CDs or DVDs that came with your notebook computer. Remember that doing this will cause you to lose all the data on the C: partition of your Acer, if you have a D: partition that usually is not touched.
