The problem could be to the transmission signal. Try to set your Fax Send Speed to 9600 bps. On your printer operator panel, press Setup > Fax Setup > Dialing and Sending > Max Send Speed > select 9600. Hit Ok to save the setting.

I can not receive fax

A partial reset of the product returns all fax settings to the default values. CAUTION: Performing a partial reset may remove all speed dials and other fax settings. It might be necessary to reset the language and country/region settings after the partial reset is complete. Perform a partial reset only as a last resort.
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  2. Wait 20 seconds and then press and hold # and 3 on the product control panel.
  3. Continuing to press # and 3, reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  4. Release the buttons when the product turns on. The product resets to factory defaults.

It is cheaper to use online fax service compared to the conventional fax machine. This way is more flexible as well because you can send and receive faxes anywhere as long as you are connected to the internet. I use Popfax.com fax email service, and it's reliable.

Error 441 seems to take all pages but receiver get aapx. 1 paragraph & the rest is blurred - same incoming

This means that an error occurred during transmission after one or more partial pages were sent. The sending machine was unable to restart the control channel connection(handshake) before sending more data. This error typically occurs when the receiving fax disconnects after receiving part of a page. It can also be caused if the receiving fax is using a fax format incompatible with the HP fax (usually during color faxing) or the line speed drops to an unacceptable level.

Solutions

Check that the phone cord is plugged in correctly and is not cut, creased or damaged.

Make sure that the phone connection terminal box is not damaged and that the cable connecting to it is not damaged.

Try the fax at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved.
