I have a Jazz HDV178 that was given to me by a friend, the problem is that it did'nt come with instructions. I have all the cables that go connected to my desk top but I don't know where they are actually supposed to go. I also don't know how to work the whole camcorder itself. Can you pls help me work the entire digital thing...

Use the charger that came with it and insert the mini-USB plug into the camera. The red LED will flash until the battery is charged and then it will stay on steady. I left mine overnight the first time. About four hours the second time. Still don't know exactly how long it takes though.
