    I have the same problem

  • Anonymous Aug 15, 2008

Nuvi 200w sometimes takes 30-40 minutes to acquire satellites from locations in California and Michigan. After acquisition, instument is accurate within about 10 metres in both automobile and pedestrian modes. Does it need a better antenna?

It may do better when connected to the car's power supply.

It may do better if it is stationary during acquisition.

When I acquire pictures from SD card, it acquires

You shouldn't be leaving the old pictures on the card. That's a guaranteed way to get into trouble. After downloading your pictures, format the card in the camera.

If you want to transfer just the new pictures, you'll have to select those pictures for transfer. Since you declined to specify what software you're using, I can't tell you precisely how to do that.
