Hi First open "Menu" and go to profile and activate the "General" during this if a message "Insert Sim Card" is prompt, the problem is from the damage of sim card/sim card IC/sim card slot. Before you contact mobile repairing shop put another sim card to your phone. If the problem still persist contact nearest mobile repairing shop.Good luck
I am not familiar with that model but if it still uses a SIM card, the lock is probably on the sim card. You could swap out the sim card and unlock that way. Only problem is you'd lose any contacts on the old card and it would likely cost you $20 for the new sim card. The cell phone company should be able to handle it for you but you'll likely have to find a store front.
Try This: 1. Remove Sim Card 2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears 3. Replace Sim Card 4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.
Also, Try this: 1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G. 2.) Start up iTunes 3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G 4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable 5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset. 6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.
if you've had the sim for a while, its your sim, take it to the store and have them give you a new one, takes but a minute. They just update your account with the new sim card ID number and your off, if it still doesn't work than its the phone.
Steps Turn your device off. Remove SIM card And MMC card. (actually not need to remove, but after format remember to format memory card and reboot phone) Press (3 + * + CallButton) Together. Turn your device on while you are pressing the three buttons. You should now see "Formatting .." word on the Screen! Leave the buttons now

ne other prob's do tell me..N plz plz do rate me cya
Doesn't sound NORMAL to me. JK. Try to take out your sim card and turn the phone on. Does the screen do the same thing? If not, turn off and insert your sim card. Turn the phone back on. Is it still reacting the same way? If so, it's the sim card. If not, I guessed we fixed it. If all else fails, open the back of the screen and see if anything is loose.
