Remove Windows 7 Password

Remove Account Password & Turn Off Password Protection in Windows 7 One of the great features of Windows 7 is User account password protection. At last articles we learn how to create a Windows 7 logon password and how to change login password in Windows 7. However, there are times when removing a password from an account make sense. Learn how to turn off Windows 7 password protection.
Everyone can have his/her own account in win7. This avoids the obvious annoyances and security risks associated with sharing a desktop and having everyone's files available to all other users of the computer.
However, there are times when turning off password protection on a Windows 7 account makes sense. For example, if you are the only user of your computer, it may not make sense to have to type in a password every time you turn on your computer. Another case is that you are a forgetful person and you often forgot your Windows 7 User Password, you don't want to reset lost password each time you can't remember it.
Another reason you may want to remove account password protection is if you need multiple people to share the same account. Finally, if you want to set up a public account, you need to make sure people have access by not password protecting the account. Whatever your reasons, Windows 7 makes it easy to turn off password protection for an account.
Turn off Windows 7 Password Protection To turn off password protection for Windows 7 account, make sure you are set up as an administrator on your computer. Then, begin by clicking on Start and then open up the Control Panel.
In the Windows 7 Control Panel, click the User Accounts and Family Safety option.
Under the User Accounts section, click on Change Your Windows Password.
In the Make Changes to Your User Account window, click on Remove Your Password.
Here, Windows 7 asks you to confirm your choice to remove your password by typing in your current password. This step is critical because it prevents just anyone from hijacking your account by removing or resetting the password. After you have typed in your current password, click the Remove Password button.
Windows 7 then takes you back to the Make Changes to Your User Account window. Unfortunately, Windows does nothing to confirm that you have indeed removed your password other than the new option on this window titled Create a Password for Your Account.
Verify Removal of Password You can verify that Windows 7 has removed your password by logging out of your account and clicking on your account icon again. Notice that this time Windows 7 did not ask you for a password but instead simply logged you in.
Remember that anyone who has access to your computer can now log in to your account with typing password. Also, understand that anyone who steals your computer will also have access to your account and your private files. With no password protection, anyone can also set a new password and lock you out of your own account. Be certain that you want to turn off password protection for your account before you make your private files vulnerable.
Tips: Not a Windows 7 user? I FORGET THE PASSWORD FOR SOWETWEAR NAMED FOLDER LOCK SO HOW CAN SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

Sorry about the problem you are encountering, you will have to uninstall the software from your computer, but before you do that, it will ask you for password during the un installation, so you will need to take the following steps;
1. goto my computer, open the hard disk
2. open the program files on the hard disk
3. Search for the name of the folder lock installation folder and delete it completely, make sure the folder lock application is not running or else you wont be able to delete it permanently.
4. goto the control panel, add and remove program, click on the folder lock icon and remove it completely.

Xp windows software password breaking software

The easiest way is to do a Repair install and during it to reset the admin password: shortly after the Copying Files stage ends the pc reboot and will resume automatically with the standard billboard screens and you will notice Installing Windows is highlighted. When you see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10. A command console will now open up giving you access to your system.
At the prompt, type NUSRMGR.CPL and press Enter to access your User Accounts in the Control Panel.

12. Now simply pick the account you need to change and remove or change your password as you prefer.

Locked computer ..can't remember password

Restart your PC and keep pressing f8 key you will get to advanced boot menu. In advanced boot meny select safe mode.
When you will boot into safe mode you will have administrator password by default with no password. Select that and login to the system under that account. Create new user account from safe mode and use that.

IF that will not work use 3rd partu utillities to reset password. Here are some of them.

I forgot windows xp admin password

Try your best to recall your windows password, or you have to reset it or reinstall your computer. I do not recommend you to reinstall the OS, which may lead a data loss. So if you really can not remember the password, try following steps:

1. Login to a computer that can link to Internet. Download Windows Password Unlocker 4.0 and decompress it on that PC. Note that: there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD.
2 Get out the newly created CD and insert it to the locked computer.
3 re-booted the locked computer and then followed the process of instructions. Just a few steps, the old password was removed.'''
4 Setting new password:
Step one: Open the "Control Panel"
Step two: Click the "User Account "
Step three: Select the account you wanna to set a new password.
Step four: Click "changing Account " and "set up password", then fill out the form as listed. Click "Create Password".
