Upon turning on vaccum it starts ok, but a second later it spits out some dust dirt out and does not vaccum. We hear like a poof suction when this happens. Cleaned all the tubes around it, but thinking...

The poof suction sound you hear is most likely the suction release valve opening up because there is a clog or restriction somewhere. If you don't feel qualified it is usually a better idea to take it to a qualified repair facility.

Turn on gas oven; it lights, big poof/pop comes; then continues to light and heat properly. How do I stop it from popping? The pop is scary!! GE Spectra Gas Stove/Oven

Hello,

The reason it "POOFS" is because the igniter is slightly weak and some gas enters before it gets lit, this will continue and get worse. To resolve it the igniter would need to be replaced and then as soon as the gas enters it would light it right away without collecting before it lit.

Whirlpool stove model #st387peyn1 oven won't heat. Broiler does work.Ignitor glows and after a while you hear a poof like it lite, but it did not.

When the igniter is getting weak, it will glow but not get hot enough to fully open the gas valve. If the gas valve opens partially a small amount of gas comes through the burner and you may smell it and eventually it may ignite with a "poof" like you describe. I suspect you just need to replace that igniter.

Oven/Broiler

If this is a gas unit then it could be caused by a gas/air ratio mixture problem, advise you get a qualified engineer to call, this could be potetially dangerous if you get a gas build up. Regards Engineer
