I have a kenmore Elite series 80 stock #29852. It will not drain out after the initial wash, after the wash it just shuts off.

Kenmore Series 80 washing machine won't drain after wash cycle. The machine just stops.

Check the lid switch under the edge of the top where the lid closes. When you are about 1 inch from closing the lid you should here a little click sound. That is the switch closing. I fyou do not here the click then the switch is bad.
