Try cleaning Spark plug,if already done then go to coil pack,or the single coil. If not that check for codes,and go from there. Sorry I can't do more. Peace. God bless.

NO SPARK ON 1997 MITUBISHI GALANT

That generation of Mitsubishi had an issue with faulty electronics in the ECU. Try and source a new one or many folks refurbish them with a lifetime warranty. Hope that helps a little.

Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is specific like anti theft code.

You can get it by providing your VIN# and registration details in authorized dealership. Nobody else can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no meaning of security for your car.

I bought a 2000 mitubishi galant. the previous owner replaced the battery and then the radio wouldn't work because the code needed to be reset. She can't find her book with the cards that has the code on...

you have to go to the dealership and produce ownership of vehicle and they will give you a number to punch into the radio.

remove the radio look behind it, call the dealer, give them the serial#they will give u the code.

You need to have the system tested for trouble codes, Kragen auto and othes do this for free, post the trouble code back here on this thread.

You willneed the following information: Last 8characters of your VIN # RadioSerial Number CallMitsubishi: 1-888-648-7820,option 1, option 4 Currenthours: 6am to 5pm Pacific, M-F. Tellrepresentative that you replaced your battery and now need your radio code. Ifyou are not currently a registered owner, they will ask for your info forregistration.
