How do i disable onboard video on a intel d865glc motherboard?

A couple things to try:
  1. Most important, check with Intel's support site to see if you have the latest version of the BIOS.

  2. Boot to the BIOS: Choose "Configuration", then "Video", choose "Enable if Primary" or if you're feeling brave choose to Disable it entirely. WARNING: DON'T do this until your other card is working properly! You've been warned!

  3. While still in BIOS: Choose "Configuration", then "Video", choose "AGP" if available, or "Auto" if AGP is not an option.

Information from Intel support website.

My Sabrent PCI TV-ATSC tv tuner card will not pick up a signal.

System Requirements: Windows XP + Service Pack 2. CPU Intel Pentium IV 2.8GHz or higher. One available PCI port. 512MB RAM or above. 1G HDD space for Software operation (Recording-shifting). AGP Graphic card with 128Mb memory and DirectX 9.0C installed. Sound card (or on board AC97 Audio). CD-ROM drive for installing software. TV signal source (Cable or antenna).
This shows your system requirements, looks like they expect you to have at least a 2.8 GHz processor AND a graphics card with a dedicated 128Mb memory.XP is all that's supported as far as an OS too.Pretty tight parameters if you ask me?If you fill all these expectations use the link below to contact them.

These are real inexpensive cards,I doubt there will be any fixing it if it's broke,so I'm hoping for the best for you.Take care.

Graphic cards

There are a lot of graphics cards available that will work in your PC. The key, is that the card you select needs to be PCI bus type. Check the game box's list of requirements to see supported graphics cards, and buy one that matches. Most graphics cards use a number system to describe the 'power', by assigning a larger number to the model to signify greater capability (a 9500 card is more powerful than a 8500 etc.)
