I restore my ipod in itunes after that i'll start to use my ipod but suddenly ok to disconnect is always appear on my ipod screen. please help me i cant download anymore.

To reset your iPod:
  • 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  • 2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
    Tip:
    • If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
    • If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

My iPod turns on but the buttons dont work! They were working just fine then they stopped! How do i fix it?

Try this! http://ipod.about.com/od/troubleshootingyouripod/ht/reset_ipod_nano.htm Difficulty: Easy Time Required: Less than 1 Minute Here's How:
  1. NOTE: First make sure that your iPod’s hold button isn’t on. This is the little switch at the top left corner of the iPod video that you can move to “lock” the iPod’s buttons. If this is on, you’ll see a little orange area at the top of the iPod nano and a lock icon on the iPod’s screen. If you see either of these, move the switch back and see if this fixes the problem.
If the hold switch wasn’t the problem do the following:
  2. Move the hold switch to the on position and then move it back to off.
  3. Hold down the Menu button on the clickwheel and the center button at the same time. Hold these together for 6-10 seconds. This should restart the iPod nano. You’ll know the iPod is restarting when the screen changes and the Apple logo appears.
  4. If this doesn’t work at first, you should repeat the steps.
  5. If this doesn’t work, you should try plugging your iPod into a power source and let it charge. Then repeat the steps.
  6. If this doesn’t work, you may have a bigger problem, and ought to get more help.

Hello, I have a sony NWZ-E438F (8GB), it works fine with other 3 computers, but when I connect it to my dell latitude E6400 win XP it isn´t recognized as an plug and play device in the menu My...

Hi There !!!

I can understand your issue. When you say the device is not getting detected as Plug & Play. Then i would say the device driver needs to be installed for the sony walkman series.

Check whether did you get any CD that came along with the device.
If yes please insert it and install the driver for it.
Restart the computer and plug the device.
Now that will take you to the setup and follow the on screen instruction.
Now you will be offset.

Please revert if you have any clarifications.

I plugged in my i pod and came back a hour later and the screen was black and was frozen and none of the buttons would work

you will need to reset your ipod this will not delete songs. 1 Toggle the Hold switch on and off (slide it to HOLD and then back again).
2 Press and hold Menu and the Center button for at least 6 seconds, until the
Apple logo appears.
If iPod nano won’t turn on or respond
â Make sure the Hold switch isn’t set to HOLD.
â The iPod nano battery might need to be recharged. Connect iPod nano to your
computer or to an Apple USB Power Adapter and let the battery recharge. Look for
the lightning bolt icon on the iPod nano screen to verify that iPod nano is receiving
a charge.
To charge the battery, connect iPod nano to a USB 2.0 port on your computer.
