- I was playing a game , it froze so i took the disc outthen it automaticaly quit the game as of then despite numerous resets the console did not recognise any discs and didnt therefore play them!!! help!

- put in my disc and will play for about half an hour, then it freezes. but I have no problem watching DVD's. Console is only 8 months old. If I clean the system with a good kit will that help or cause even further problems? HELP...I cannot afford a new system!- holtennoelleSolution #1

Well wat u could do is format ur ps3 it may take a while then ur cds will work my friend had the same promblem but then he format his ps3 and the disc started to work rember format will erase all of you save file but will not detle any of your friends it ur choice u can do it but im not shore if it work it work for the 60g but not shore about the 40g
