Display is too faint

One of the drawbacks of LCD displays is that they can fade with age. If you have an older fax machine, this may be the cause of the fading

Lately, our fax has not been working and the message 'Check/remove original and press stop key' will appear on the LCD screen. Even after removing the original or clearing any paper, the LCD screen...

Thre is a "finger" sensor on the input tray. It is stuck in the "down" position. The fax machine falsly senses paper on the sensor.
Use compressed air (from a can) to clean the sensor and "work" it to free it. Do not lubricate it (no WD40 or duct tape, please)...

Try this first

Open up the doc feeder
unplug the power cord
hold down the pointed switch behind the small glass strip while plugging the power cord in

close the doc feeder
scroll down to SHIPMENT SET
press SET
press 2 for no
wait for machine to intialize.

if this doesn't work you have a bad LCD display.

My Brother MFC-235C shows print unable 32 read user manual but I dont have a manual

The message "Print Unable 32" or "Machine Error 32" will appear on the LCD display if paper or labels are stuck inside the printer or drum unit.
:
This will also appear if there is either a mechanical issue or just a problem with a sensor possibly software.
:
1) The way to resolve this issue is to make sure there is no paper in between the rollers or on top of the print heads (if applicable).

2) If there is no paper the you will need to hard reset the printer which will restore to manufacuter settings and reset software.

Hold down the Menu botton while plugging in the power cable. The display should read "Maintenance." let go of the menu button and then punch in 91. The display should read "Param Init." The unit will beep once. Then type 99. The unit will exit maintenance mode.

This only works for maybe 30% of the time.
:
3) If this does not work then : Refer to Manufacturer or return the item.

IF PRINTER DOES NOT HAVE A MENU BUTTON:

1)Turn the printer power switch OFF. Check that the front cover is closed.

2)Turn the printer power switch ON while holding down the GO button until the Toner, Drum and Paper LEDS are lit.
3)Release the GO button. All LEDs will be off.
4)Press the GO button 8 times. The Ready LED will flash briefly while the printer is reset. After the printer is reset the READY LED will be lit.

Okifax 5750 baud rate

Try the following with the machine in standby mode. (no document fed)
Press MENU/EXIT key ONCE.
Press RESOLUTION key TWICE.
LCD display should indicate "Technical Prg."
Press DOWN ARROW key ONCE
LCD -display should indicate "2 Setup"
Press RIGHT ARROW key ONCE
LCD display should indicate "Setup"
Press the DOWN ARROW key TWELVE times.
LCD display should indicate "13>H/Modem Rate"
Press the RIGHT ARROW key ONCE.
*** NOTE WHAT IT IS ALREADY & DO NOT FORGET IT IN CASE YOU WANT TO UNDO ***
Press the DOWN ARROW key repeatedly to change the setting to 4.8, 9.6, 14.4, 28.8 or 33.6K.
For "9400" set it to "9.6" (9.6K = 9600 Baud)

Also note that for this to fix your problems I would expect to find your machine is currently set to 14.4 or higher.
Change it and see how it works for you. If it is no good, you can always change it back to the original setting.

Lcd display on my samsung fax machine model sf-360 is not working

Hi there there is no battery to replace it draws it's power from the power supply board. The only thing is that the LCD will need replacing as it is the complete control panel. You could try taking at apart and checking there isn't a dry point on the solder and re solder the LCD.

Try this but likely hood it that you will have to replace the control panel and in most cases this will out way the cost of the machine.

Hope this has been some help
Thanks J

Replacing the battery won't change anything. The LCD would have to be replaced, there are not any adjustments to change the LCD intensity.
