I have LG R400 laptop with xp installed. m having few problem with laptop and want to restore to the factory settings. however, i do not have recovery disk and when i tried to restore using system restore, there is no option for resetting to factory restore.. i tried with f11 key in start up advanced menu but did not find the option for factory restore.. any help?? Krishna

The Toshiba notebook laptop comes with the Windows XP operating system pre-installed. 1. Place the recovery disc, label-side up, into your Toshiba disc drive.

2. Let the program load completely, which takes just a few seconds.

3. Press the "Escape" keep to move forward to the installation process.

4.Change the drive's name to "C:/," a common name for drives in laptops.

5.Choose a name for your laptop, and click "Next" to finish the re-installation of Windows XP.

Hello, The best place you can get the driver is from the manufacturer of your laptop website which is LG. Go to there site.Under product, choose laptop or notebook with the model number., LG R400.You will see the various support for this notebook, all the drivers for it.check on the driver for the webcam and download.After downloading,then install

to fully restore it to as you brouth it you will have to install windows againe with a oem disc

Power the laptop off and as soon as it starts posting press "F11" this will access the recovery partition.
After that just follow the on screen prompts that will restore the pc to factory defaults or factory condition, it will say something along those lines. Let me know if this works for you
