Hi, I spilled a large quantity of water on my HP dv7t laptop last night. It was a huge glass, and because of this the laptop just automatically shut off and i didn't even have time to turn it off. I unfortunately enough (as i didn't know this was bad) tried to turn it on 2 to 3 times, and then looked online that that was a bad thing. After doing this, i took the laptop apart cleaned some of the wet spots under the keyboard out and let it air for a couple minutes. After putting it back together, i let it sit over-night and tried to turn it on again. It still didn't work. Is it lost forever?

I am assuming your motherboard is fried, but your Hard Drive is still OK. The laptop may not work anymore, but your files are more than likely recoverable.

My Incanto Sirius coffee maker is acting strange. It automatically keeps brewing (1) large coffee. The only way to stop this is to shut off the machine. I am getting a LCD read out of Program quantity....

Program quantity is trying to program that amount.
When it starts to brew and gets to the quantity you want for that cup size push the brew button again and see if it stops.

Some water spilled on my hp laptop

If you didn't tip it on a side and wait a week I'd say there was still water in it. So yes you shorted something.
