Hi there, sorry been so long since i posted this question, problems with internet!!!! tried your solution, but couldnt get it to work, the tv just turned on and no menu appeared, any other idea's please, it's driving me nuts now!!!

Usually answered in minutes!
When i turn the tv on,1 in 3 times there is no sound, so i have to turn it off then back on. The enginneer from Comet came out, did a recalibration code (wouldnt tell me what it was!) and i seemed to fix it for about 6 months. unfortunately the warrenty has expired now. Any ideas? or know the calibration code? please help.
