This means that windows 10 can't recognize the device you want to install windwos 10 on. Make sure you have your USB plugged in a USB2.0 port for compatibility reasons.

There are 2 solutions for this:
1: Go to the BIOS of your motherboard (search for the motherboard type online and how to enter the BIOS) and make sure that the adapters of your SATA controllers are on AHCI (not RAID) and if you can, enable UEFI in the BIOS.

2: Look for the manufacturer of your hard drive and drivers for your motherboard. This will then also give information how to get the drivers for the disk itself properly. Then when windows asks for it, browse to the drivers via a USB stick.

If both the solutions do not help, please tell me so, with the information of what USB stick you use, which hard drive/SSD you use and what your motherboard type is.

why windows 7 when 10 is heaps better and is a free uprade to windows 10 from windows 8 just go to settings update and do it for free. i'm in the insider program for windows. as all ways install all exe's as admin then you have no problems.

all required drivers will be readily available there.
select audio driver for windows 7 and install it on your pc
