There is a hardware compatibility list for all pc, chances are your pc have exceeded its maximum allowance for any upgrade, even though you have installed a higher value or capacity of RAM.

try reinstaaling once again and make sure you have the right speed allocation on your RAM , make sure that the ols RAM and the new one has the same PC___

It would be better to install a graphic card.
As most of the games recommended requirement is that you have installed a graphic card in your PC.
Also try some troubleshooting steps given here;
Stop un-necessary background running services
Update all drivers
Scan PC with an updated Anti-Virus
Also use game optimization softwares like PCFresher that will turn your computer to gaming mode.

What cheap but good video card should i get to run modern warfare 2 on my dell desktop computer

Hello,

From what I can determine, for you to have the permornace you need for Modern Warfare 2, the following are the recommended computer requirements:

A CPU: 2.4 GHz dual core or better, RAM: 1 GB on XP / 2 GB on Vista and Windows 7 and a
GeForce 9500 GT 1GB memory Graphics board. (this is a PCI Express slot board).

Make sure your Dell has the slot required for the graphics board, if no slot then there is an AGP board, but with 512MB memory that would work good.

Either graphice baord would cost about them same
Recommend, EVGA @ Negeeg.com or Tiger Direct.

Good Luck

Intel MHD 4500 Dedicated memory

For your first question...dedicated memory is only the memory that is always going to be used as part of running your video card. Unless your computer is pushed to its limits RAM wise, you should be fine. So with your first chipset 64mb of ram will always be used to run your video card. the 797mb is shared meaning it will fluctuate depending on your video cards needs. For your seconds question, no your really cannot. Unless you want to risk completely screwing up for computer by modifying your bios. You really do not need more dedicated memory unless you are having preformance problems, then i would recommend a whole new laptop. The 64mb vs 128mb dedicated memory in bios could be an error or your video card might actually have 128mb dedicated memory. Anyway if you ahve anymore questions fel free to contact me. Best of luck

Really poor graphics

Make sure you have the latest driver updates for your graphics chipset.

Also, have you checked your task manager to see if your system resources are being strained. If so you may want to optimize your startup configuration to eliminate unnecessary programs running in the background.

I would check for the latest drivers first though.

I have 256 mb intel 82945g express chipset but it does support many games because its pixel shadder and vertex shadder is low......suggest some measure

Change it. It is an on-board card, so it won't play great. It is attached to your motherboard. Intel is not a professional for GPUs. If it is a laptop, sorry, you will need to change the motherboard to get a new standalone GPU into it.
For a desktop, you may already have a PCI or PCI Express slot ready in the CPU. Just attach the card there, and forget the old one.

RAM SHARING IS POSSIBLE?

There is about a 99% chance that the answer is no. There may be some freak service out there but it wouldn't be worth your time and money to find and use it. Unless that is the maximum amount of ram your computer allows (very unlikely), it really is much better, safer, and faster to upgrade your ram. If you go to some different ram online stores, you can enter info about your computer and it will tell you what kind to use. One more thing. Ram is fast. Even if it did exist, the computer would run so slow that you would be worse off than you are now.

Basically, the answer is no, and even if it did, It wouldn't work so don't use it.

Video playblack really slow when transferred to Computer

Most of camcorder was bundled with the cable and the driver..
There are 2 type of cable , first is usb , and the 2nd is firewire...
USB 1.1 is having 150 MBit/s while USB 2.0 have 480 MBit/s and Firewire maybe vary depends on the type..
Though you must have good specification of computer when you want to burn the video and make it readable to the CD/DVD player... or just want to play in your computer..
This is the specification .. you should check it whether it's match or not..
1. The processor.. It's better to have the Intel Pentium rather than AMD because your transfer take a long time to go.. to transfer the data.. AMD produces more heat than Intel..
The bigger clock of the Processor and mostly the bigger L2 cache memory of the processor is the better...
2. Harddisk
You must have a harddisk more than 80 GB because when you transfer the data from camcorder to your harddisk, it takes a large amount of disk space.. this also will reduce the performance of the playback , since windows will give you warning of low disk space...
You must have a harddisk with it's bigger cache memory especially 8 MB memory.. This will speed up the playback performance....
Your harddisk also must have the minimum spindle rate of 7200 rpm (this will accelerate the level of playback) The bigger spindle rate of the hard disk will always increase the reading level of your data which reside in it...
3. The amount of Memory ..
Make it sure at least you have 1 GB RAM
PS: Better to have DDR2 RAM because the higher bandwith...
Try to use the identical chip (not by brand) especaily when you use 2 kind of memory)
4. Mainboard ...
Use the intel chipset ,,..(as the north bridge and the south bridge).. frequently accelerate the performance better than sis or via..
Optional : find the dual channel memory bank and place the point 3 (2 identical memory here).. it will boost up your play back performane
5. The Graphic Card
Use at least 256 MB Graphic Card which have 8X data transfer rate... you can use PCI express with X16 when your motherboard support it..
Hope this thing will solve your problem...
