Question about Anolon Kitchen Appliances - Others

1 Answer

Dishwasher Accident! Dear help team, I have the above set of Anolon pans which I can confidently state have been an absolute fantastic investment and have proved there worth over the past 5 years. I have recently had a new kitchen fitted and with this came my 1st dishwasher, very foolishly I put 2 of my pans through the dishwasher and as you can imagine I am absolutely mortified by the outcome as the outer surface has been completely destroyed. Is there anything you can do to repair this or do I have to just put this very expensive mishap down to a very bad experience? I look forward to receiving you valuable advice. Kind regards Tray

Are they stainless or anodized aluminum? Either rate by destroyed i take it they are discolored? If they are just discolored, use a scotch brite pad with ajax/comet powder. fine emory cloth works good too. be more specific as to destroyed.

I purchased a hard anodized 13 piece cookware set several years ago from J C Penney's. I am very pleased with the cookware, however, I can no longer use the large frying pan. The coating is off and...

Did you use the dishwasher, sometimes they don't like that. If you have the receipt, take it back to JC's, failing that, email their customer support team. This should be covered by the warranty, and outside of warranty. Receipt= take it back.

Miele Dishwasher does not start

hi,

F51 fault is more than likely the heater relay is faulty but it could be your circulation pump is jammed up. if you are confident you can easily replace the replace the relay if it is faulty. you would need to put a meter across the terminals. if it is ok then the pump is blocked. if you are not confident you would require a service call. Miele have there own deadicated service team if you live in a metro area

hope this helps.

Hi Both drawers show error F1 flashing beeping with rinse light on and both pumps run after power is applied to machine

F1 error indicates flood switch in base has activated, meaning machine has leaked. This causes machine to drain continously, and can only be stopped by switching off power. Not easy to fix if you don't have experience- bottom drawer has to be removed to access flood switch, then machine needs to be test run and checked for leaks. Best to call the professionals!!

Dishwasher: BOSCH SHE43 - pump keeps draining

Your dishwasher is stuck in flood mode. Bosch dishwashers are built with flood switches located in the bottom base pan of the dishwasher. The flood switch is connected to a rod that activates a small interlock switch. When water enters the base pan on a Bosch dishwasher, a Styrofoam puck lifts the rod, activating the flood switch.

When the flood switch is activated, the dishwasher will go into a no-fill, only-drain mode. The drain motor may also run with the door open to the unit. This is definitely a sign there is water in the base pan. This can be caused by the drain being clogged. There are two ways to fix:

1. You can uninstall the dishwasher and tip it forward to about a 45 degree angle to drain the water out of the base pan. (This is probably why Ian Bint's solution fixed the problem.) Be sure to put a towel under the dishwasher first so that the water is soaked up in the towel instead of going all over the floor. Once you've drained all the water out of the base pan, reinstall the dishwasher and begin a cycle. If it fills and runs, you are good to go.

2. You can also unplug the unit, then remove the kick panel at the bottom in the front. (It's attached with two screws.) Then get some old washcloths or small towels and reach into the base pan below the dishwasher to soak up the water. The pan is directly behind the plastic base panel rim. Once the pan is empty and dry, your dishwasher will no longer be in "flood mode" and will run properly.

If the base pan keeps refilling with water and the no-fill problem returns, there is definitely another issue, such as a clogged drain. At this point, you need to decide whether to invest in an expert evaluation by a certified Bosch repairman and make the necessary repairs, or buy a new dishwasher.

Cloudy Dishes

Salt? i know you said you have soft water but probably not enough, the salt replenishes the resin beads so you get a rinse with pure water on the final rinse.

ga, behind the toe panel on the bottom there should be a tech sheet explaining how to put the dishwasher in the test mode. See if you can enter the test mode. If you can't, you probably have a stuck or shorted keypad. Catriver...post back
