What spec do you have on this computer,
How much ram,etc,,,,
What model and make of camera is it?
Check the specs from the cameras model and make to see if suitable for this laptop

or

is this a performance problem due to small ram
(not enough for the camera to work properly)

Have you done any upgrades lately ????
Maybe settings need adjusting???

The more info you can help with the better I can understand your problem,

Please don't rate me until we find a solution thanks

do you have by any chance a wifi dongle connection for your internet! as, some dongles interfere with the operation of the the Vista system a glitch that cant be rectified other than using the ethernet cable. MicroNEXT have neat little dongle which you can use with no hastles whatever. You can get one through amazon.

Toshiba Sat A135-S2386 System recovery downloads??

As you have stated that the key which  you have is for
Vista - basic
and the operating system is most probably vista Ultimate
hence the key is not working

what  You can  do is search the internet for a Vista Ultimate Prodct key
if you can find it i  guess the activation will go through  easily

if this  does not work  or you want any  other assistance please do post back.

Upgrade to vista ultimate

If you have a full version of Windows Vista Ultimate, you can just insert the DVD when you logged in your laptop and go to Computer(My Computer) and lauch the installer for Windows on DVD icon (Double Click DVD icon). It will give you the main window for installing Windows and along the way, you should find an Upgrade option. Click that one and it will install windows Ultimate on your system. It Will not format the laptop but installer will just add system files and features to the laptop to run Vista Ultimate.

**If you haven't purhcase a Windows Vista Ultimate Disc, check this link to to purchase just an upgrade Disc (only) of Vista Ultimate.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/get/anytime-upgrade-overview.aspx

An upgrade disc will also not format the laptop instead it will just install additional features and add additional files on the system to run Windows Vista Ultimate

Help fix my laptop

Nope, there is currently no support for that within Vista, try using the XP driver directly; and when installing it click on "Continue Anyway".

Good luck!
