Problem with the Lenovo G560 06793JUi instilled camera drivers but camera not opening. i am using short cut Fn + esc key

Try again to uninstall the camera driver and be sure to download the driver from the lenovo website here's the link: be sure to download the format that correspond with the OS installed in your laptop. then install the driver..If camera is still not working even by pressing FN+ESC, it means that camera is already defective..If the laptop is still IN WARRANTY call 18774536686 and press option 2 for hardware support and ask for service repair for them to replace the camera through their service center.

My webcam is not working, i intalled the setups, but not showing any camera properties.

Hi Sweetpravi4u,

You might have a missing driver that's why it is not showing the properties and doesn't work. Here are some options that you can apply to check this issue. Just press the FN+ESC and see if it will work. Pressing the FN+ESC will activate your camera. But if no dice, just go ahead and reinstall the correct driver. You can download it here, please go to the camera section then select the driver that corresponds to your operating system. For additional steps please follow the instructions below.

1. After selecting the correct driver, please click on I agree once the pop up window appears.

2. Now save the .exe file to your desktop.

3. After downloading, install the driver then restart the system.

4. After you reboot the computer, press the FN+ESC to activate the camera.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

  • Often when the computer goes into "sleep" mode, the camera may not can restart and this will do the trick.
  • Also your keyboard may have a Fn key which is linked to the ESC key that which turns the camera on and off, if your computer has this key try it and see what you get good luck....The Fang
