SMS MESSAGE When I click on "Create Message", it does nothing. Cannot connect to anything in Message Center. All other buttons work fine. If I go to "Options" in Message Center, I get "Msg Center Menu", when I select "Create Message" it takes me to "New Short Message" and when I select that, it takes me to my Home Screen. Would love to be able to text!! Please help!! Thanks!!

You can actually delete the unnecessary SMS from your phone to make sure that the phone memory is not really full, outbox, sent items, drafts and inbox.
You can also check if the message center number that you are using is the correct SMS center number assigned for your service provider, you might need replacing it with another message center numbers. You can call your service provider for the list of SMS center numbers that you can try to use.

To make draft messages on your phone..First go to message menu create message..Type message you want,after typing click OK button of yuor phone there are options that says save messages..To access that message ,go to the message menu choose draft or save message,select the message you want to send click OK and select edit then Click OK button of your phone select SEND then choose the number in your phonebook..Hope this helps..

I had the same problem and came to this site for help but the solutions didn't solve the problem of "cannot send text message" on htc touch hd. All service numbers correct. Went to START/SETTINGS/CONNECTIONS/ADVANCED NETWORK/SMS SERVICE then changed from "gprs" to "gprs preferred". Double checked and had reverted to "GSM" but sms now works - finally!!! Hope this helps.

You have to save all your data first , then you have to format the handset by switch off and then pressing * and 3 and green button and the power button all at the same time un till it asks about country setting and time etc

Instructions to a Sakar sms text messenger - sending text messages.

Press the NUMBERS/LETTERS below the keypad icons.

Example: SEND a message from one Messenger to the other

• For the messenger (USER 1) receive a message
  

• Press SMS button,
• then the RECV button and leave it like that - don't do anything

• On the messenger (USER 2)sending the message
• Press SMS
  
• Type with the numbers/letters (NOT THE PICTURE)
  
• Click SEND (it will display P/i ?)
  
• click the (I C Q chat) button with the smiley face

• The message will appear on messenger (USER 1) display

don't worry,
first go to the"menu" then "setting",there sould be factory setting at last point..click on it..
then u will have question that "restore all original setting?phone will restart. yes/no?
click on yes!!
then u will again ask for passport/security code..
if u change your security code then type it if not then type 12345 as a security code.
then click on ok..
your phone will restart,
and go to setting,phone setting....and coll divert setting,,and voice coll setting,and all voice coll setting.,,and click on cancel...
after try to coll and send sms..
if u have still problem on sending sms,....go message click on the message setting....then click text message setting..
there soule be message center click on it and type ur message center no... and came 1 step back and click on message center in use,,,choose that message center u type .....you can get your message center no fron ur sim card priviver,,,otherwise u can copy that message center no. from ur friends cell ,....that message center no. is located at same place on message setting...but ur friend's sim card sould be same with your's..

i m not able too send or rec. messages through nokia e62....even i have entered the required message center no. but no use ...even i have done formatting & flashing... but no use
