To the second user with no-sound issues, ensure your speakers are...
* plugged into the 'green' audio output socket
* not muted in the windows taskbar
* powered via appropriate means (ie. piggy back of 3 pin computer power lead OR directly from main outlet)

Try this: extract the file from the link provided, then, drag the file
(dsound.dll) into your windows/system folder (its on the hard drive) and it should fix the problem.
