Error 1068 on vista print spooler stopped

Please follow the below given steps to remove the dependencies.

1.Click start icon.
2.Click on All Programs.
3.Click on Accessories.
4.Click Run.
5.Type cmd and hit enter.

To remove this dependency all you have to do is open the command prompt and type in the following command:

Please type Sc*config*spooler*depend=*rpcss (put spaces where the (*)’s are.

When you hit enter you will get this message:

Sc config spooler depend= rpcss [SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS

Now please restart the computer and try to install the printer.

well..for beginners, did you check for the Vista compatibility with this printer? Also, you MAY need SP1 for Vista, which had a ton of driver updates.
