when does this error appear ?! At boot ?! If so, check all u're cables that are properly inserted (inside the computer) also do a BIOS reset (see u;re user manual) just in case it got stuck ...
Also in u;re user manul u should find what the e74 error means

also try removing u're hard drive, if the error does not appear anymore (a no system disk or disk error will appear though ) then the issue is u;re hard drive or the cables it connects to the comp ...

Xbox 360

E74 error message can indicate the general hardware failure that is associated with three flashing red lights error on the console. As a result, we have decided to cover repairs related to the E74 error message under our three-year warranty program for certain general hardware failures that was announced in July 2007. We have already made improvements to the console that will reduce the likelihood of an occurrence of this issue. Detailed information related to the Xbox 360 warranty and resources for those who require repair can be found at www.xbox.com/support (www.xbox.com/support) .

Microsoft will refund to customers the amount paid for an Out of Warranty repair due to a general hardware failure associated with the E74 error message. Those customers should automatically receive the refund within 4-12 weeks, and no additional action by customers should be necessary. Customers can choose to receive either a refund to their credit card or a check refund. Checks should be received no later than the end of July. If you have any question regarding refund status, contact Xbox Customer Support at: http://www.xbox.com/support/contact .
you can submit a console-repair request online by using the links in the "Additional support" section. To confirm your console is displaying the E74 error message, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the console.
  2. Turn on the console.
  3. Verify that your console displays the E74 error message.

a message saying windows-no dis exception processing message c0000013 parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c then it says cancel try agin contunue and i push one and it just keeps coming back constantly.

Hello drea_mike67,

There may be any number of storage device faults causing the no disk exception error message. For instance, a usb device may have been removed without choosing the 'safely remove hardware' option. If that's the case then reconnect the usb device and choose 'safely remove hardware' (bottom right hand corner of your PC screen), and then remove the USB device.

If the error message still comes up then try using the device manager in the windows control panel like this:

•Opening the Control Panel
The Windows Control Panel can be opened by:
Selecting *Start > Control Panel (on Windows Vista)
- OR -
Start > Run > Type 'Control' and select OK (on Windows XP)

In the Control Panel, do the following:
•Select System
•Select the Hardware tab
•Select Device Manager
•Look for disk drives or other drives that are not used or recognized...
•Right click the device(s) and select uninstall

If this solution is helpful please click 'YES' by 'Was this helpful?' below.

Have a great day,

Hello,

ok..enter to the bios setup and then find "load bios setup default" and then save and restart the system.

If won't help then, verify if the hard drive is detected..if don't know how to detect hard drive, go to bios set up and find hard disk if detected. if not hard disk found then ..consult your vendor for immediate support.

I start up my computer, I get a black screen that says press F1, after I do that I get a black screen with a message that reads, operating system not functioning

Hi,

Have you take note the error message about the operating system? does it say a corrupted windows file?

With regard to the error message about F1 to continue, i would say that your hard drive is looking for the operating system. There is a possibility that your operating system is corrupted due a virus infected file or a system file was accidentally deleted from your computer or it could be an issue with your hard drive itself.

You may need to check also if your hard drive is detected by computer. You may call your computer manufacturer if your system still under warranty. In case the hard drive need to be replaced.

I suggesst to run a system diagnostics first to check if the hard drive still functioning before you run windows repair using the operating disc you have with your system.

Keep me posted.

Dimension c521 computer gives a post error, floppy drive 0 error and keyboard error

Hi,
The compute post tests the computer, insuring that it meets the necessary system requirements and that all hardware working properly before starting the remainder of the boot process.
1 Short Beep, Normal POST, computer is okay. No problem. 2 Short Beep, POST error....floppy drive 0 error and keyboard error........This can happen because there is something wrong with your floppy drive, something is causing your computer not to detect it or that you simply don't have one.
Check your floppy cables and connections first to ensure that they are connected properly, if they are then you may have a burned out controller on your motherboard, a bad floppy cable or drive, or your motherboard may be faulty. If you don't have one you can disable the message in your computers BIOS. To get to the BIOS screen, during boot up at the bottom of the screen it will say something like "press F2 for setup" or something along those lines. That will take you to the BIOS screen. In the settings there should be options like first boot device, second boot device, and so on... change the one that say 3.5 floppy to something else such as your CD rom. That will get rid of that message.
Keyboard error or no keyboard present shows up when your computer can't find your keyboard or there is something wrong with it. Replace with new keyboard. Thank you
