Most models won't work when on Auto. Generally there
are push buttons under the clock and one has a picture of a hand (Like a cop
holding up his hand to say "Stop"). Press this button and it should
go back to manual mode and allow you to use the oven.
What I have said so far is pretty much a guess, based upon experience. I'm also guessing that you don't have a manual to refer to either. However, while I can't find the specific manual for your model, there is a westinghouse oven manual here:
A lot of the time, particularly if you haven't got a manual, it is trial and error. I normally turn the oven to on. I then watch the oven indicator light as I manipulate the timer buttons/controls. It sometimes takes 5 to 10 minutes. Just try all different combinations.
