Go to start, configuration, hardware and see if there is a yellow ! next to your sound device. Ifso, reinstall the drivers. If there is no sound device at all also reinstall the drivers and than restart. Before doing this check if your sound is not muted or set extremely low.

My powered sub woofer system doesn't work.power indicator works and fan doesnt no sound

You will need to contact JVC online, customer support and the technical department to see if they can provide at least download on the circuit diagram. The powered sub from your description has a short, probably the main ic that is heatsinked.

I hook up my speakers to my computer but no sound device detected i get a humming sound though?

Without getting into a vbak and forth with you about all the details of your PC, you should use a search engine to find high-level advice on how to get your sound device going (sound card). Until THAT happens speakers will not work.

I wanna know how to download a audi device for my pc because it doesnt have one and i cant hear anything.

If your computer doesn't have an audio device, you can't download one. You'll have to get a piece of hardware that supports audio. Go to geeks.com, or amazon.com and get one of the USB sound cards. When it arrives, plug it in to a USB slot, install the drivers, and connect the output to some powered speakers or headphones.

I turn on receiver and receive a protect error on the screen. I replaced the fuses but still have the problem

sounds like your problems coming from your amp. remove cover again remove amp power harness then turn on should clear fault. check transistors for shorts and if its all ok. plug amp harness back replace cover and try it. if it works try to have a good distance from other devices cause of heat and alittle fan doesnt hurt

My laptop sound is deleted

If the software is not installed,Try reinstalling software,
If the device is faulty then only course of action is replace device with new device.
Also You can use a external usb sound card,
just load software that comes with the new device and external speakers.
Have you checked device manager to find out if there are conflicts?
Do you have SP2 Updates installed?

Having trouble setting up sound system

I can see by the setup of this device, it can be confusing. So let's make sure you are setting the device to the correct "A" speaker outputs. These would all be on the rear panel, on the right side of the receiver. Is this correctly setup?

HELP ME PLEASE-STEREO PROB.-

I'm assuming that these are not the usualy 1/8 inch jack earphones... are these usb earphones? if so (if using xp) check the settings in the control panel/sound and audio devices/audio tab...then in the "sound playback" section, see if the headphones are given as an option...if so select them and hit okay. Make sure that there are no audio applications open when switching. Hope this helps.
