Ok I have seen this issue many times before , first unplug the console . Disconnect the power cable , a/v cable , controllers , any usb devices , & finally disconnect your hard drive . Now let the system sit for a few minutes , then plug in just the power , a/v cable , & a controller . You should be able to boot your Xbox 360 successfully now . At this point you can either connect your hard drive while the system is running or you can turn it off & connect it . This should fix the issue , if not you can attempt to clear the system cache in the Settings Menu or worst case download the latest update from Microsoft on your Computer , then follow the instructions & place it on a freshly formatted USB Memory Stick . Then place the USB Memory Stick in the 1st USB Port on the Xbox 360 & boot the console .
The Xbox comes in two versions, one
with a hard drive and one without. Enhance game play and speed by adding
a hard drive to cache the game data during play. Adding a hard drive or
swapping out the original for a larger drive is easy and gives you as
much storage as you could ever want.
