Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
I have a 1993 GE Spacemaker Microwave that's still going. The lower screw that holds the handled to the door got sheared off as my boys were rough housing. I just need to replace the screw but I can't figure out how to get the door apart to replace the screw(s).
Any help would be appreciated.
you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo)
and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.
Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.
You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.
