Hi I solve this problem with a program called CardFive this program provides several drivers inside when you install it in Windows 7. I install CardFive 6.3. Note. this program don´t install a printer driver in Devices and Printers in Windows 7, only provides you a interface to print cards with your Eltron p310 and you can choose other printer models discontinued. My printer interface is parallel and works in Windows 7 With CardFive 6.3 pro.
Seems like you just need to run a cleaning cycle on the printer. Both lights flashing means you have printed a high volume of cards without cleaning the printer. Please purchase cleaning kit 105909-169 to clean your printer.
