I have installed windows 7 into my desktop pc, but i do not have the driver for my zebra card printer p420i. please help me.

If you Google 'eltron p420 driver windows xp' you will see a number of possible sources listed. I am assuming you have not tried it that way, but if you have, apologies.

Take care, when you download from one of these sources, to have an up to date anti-virus program running. Also when you download, save the download file to a Temp directory and send it to a scanner site like VirusTotal.

The reason for this is that XP is an obsolete OS which is no longer being patched by Microsoft, so the last version of it may have vulnerabilitites.

Hi I solve this problem with a program called CardFive this program provides several drivers inside when you install it in Windows 7. I install CardFive 6.3. Note. this program don´t install a printer driver in Devices and Printers in Windows 7, only provides you a interface to print cards with your Eltron p310 and you can choose other printer models discontinued. My printer interface is parallel and works in Windows 7 With CardFive 6.3 pro.

Seems like you just need to run a cleaning cycle on the printer. Both lights flashing means you have printed a high volume of cards without cleaning the printer. Please purchase cleaning kit 105909-169 to clean your printer.

Properties, Device Settings Tools.
