No power at all to the unit when turned on and plugged in any suggestions

check power plug at base is plugged in and turned on at power point ( this has happened twice in last two days on my phone base power pack - by others unplugging it)
Check line cord at base unit is plugged in too
base phone not working suggests no power on base and phones battery has gone flat .

Since you have no sound even on radio, it's not going to be a bad tt motor. There is no fuse except for a thermal fuse inside power transformer. I would start with a continuity check accross both of the blades on the plug. If it's open, you prob have a bad power transformer.

Maybe its the fuse in the unit.

It is best to be unplug unit and wait for the power to come back on, turn control to off, plug the unit in and reset control to factory suggested setting. Do not open freezer door unnecessarily if freezer is off for several hours. Make sure the freezer plug is tightly pushed into electrical outlet and not plugged into a GFI. Is the temperature control in the OFF position? Set temperature controls to proper setting suggested by owners guide or set to the halfway point and adjust it up or down as needed. If any suggestions are ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately. From what you have described the power loss could have possibly caused a communication problem with the control board, temperature control or wiring harness.

I would guess there is a leak somewhere inside the unit that is spraying water on some electrical component and causing a ground fault.

Well, I suggest TURN OFF power, and pull the heating element. What happens is if there is power to the unit and not water around it, it burns out. Certainly, the plug must be clean and tight or resistance goes up and can cause the same condition.

I'm not too sure what to suggest since you haven't provided much information. I guess, there not much more you can say though.

Just have a look, what colour is the light on the power unit?

If it's yellow, it should be ok. If it's red it can mean a variety of thing from too much voltage to the unit being too hot etc.

If it is red, make sure the unit is cool to touch and that the output you've plugged it into isn't damaged or anything. Try plugging it into a different power outlet and see if it works.

If you've got another Xbox 360 power cable or power unit, try a combination of different parts to try and locate the problem.

If you don't manage to find a solution just order a replacement from Xbox customer support.

Problem seems in power supply section at VC-516 (main board). If you know how to open and repair it, just check Fuses at VC-516 board and these are located near connector coming from battery / dc-in jack area. One fuse is open in this case.
