Olympia Supertype 330 purchased August 2003. Gets little use. The right margin seems to be locked close to the left margin.

Tab to that position press tab clear to set press tab set. If nthere is a tab that you can't clear it is probably the R. margin. Go to that point press but don't hold the MAR REL key, space to desired location, press R. mar key.

Try a little WD40 on the silver shaft the carrier slides on, look for debris in the area below the carrier, turn it off and slide the carrier by hand feeling for anything binding.

Cannot move the right margin out.

Hit the margin release, morve the printhead to where you want the margin set and hit R MAR. This should reset the margin. You should also check to be sure there is no forien object in the machine preventing the printhead from moving to the right.
